Pastor Diane’s favorite part of the competition is seeing the kids enjoy fishing. “What a great activity for kids to learn and enjoy!” It’s also a great opportunity for kids to learn about fishing. If they have not ice fished before there will be lessons and equipment available for them to give it a try free of charge. Pastor Diane remembers growing up in a small community much like Balsam Lake. “There wasn’t always something to do or enough people to get together for a team activity. Ice fishing is a great hobby for any kid.”
